Martin Recruitment Inc. was founded by Francisco Martin in Edmonton, Alberta, with a mission to connect hardworking Canadians with great local businesses. Having worked for some of the largest recruitment agencies in the world, like Robert Half, and Aston Carter, Francisco mixed his industry experience with his passion for entrepreneurship to create Martin Recruitment Inc.
At Martin Recruitment, we’re not interested in filling roles as fast as possible so that we can collect a fee and move on to our next client. Instead, we aim to build lasting relationships with our partners so that we can serve them to the best of our ability on a long-term basis. We stand by this approach because we believe that the cornerstone of a good hire is genuine care for both the candidates and employers involved.

Today, Martin Recruitment Inc. is an extremely rapidly-growing business in the heart of Edmonton that works hard to serve its partners and give back to the community as it grows.
Our commitment to the community goes beyond business; Francisco, a first-generation Cuban immigrant to Canada, strongly believes in charity. When he first came to Canada, his family relied on organizations like Hope Mission and The Mustard Seed to help them get on their feet. These experiences instilled in him a strong belief in giving back. For that reason, as the business grows, so does Martin Recruitment's contributions and partnerships with charitable organizations.

What happens after I reach out to a recruiter?
Once you've reached out, the first step is for us find out how we can best support you. Whether you're a hiring manager or a job-seeker, we will ask you a series of questions to understand what type of solution is best suited for your unique situation. If you're a job-seeker, this generally leads into a discussion of your skills, and experience. If you're a hiring manager, this generally leads into a discussion of your current or upcoming hiring needs.
How long will it take a recruiter to find me a position?
The answer to this question varies greatly depending on the candidate and skillset. Some candidates are placed in as little as 1-2 days, others take as long as several months. It's important to understand that recruitment agencies do not make new positions on their own, their open positions only reflect their client's hiring needs and the demand within the job-market at any given time.
Do job-seekers pay for this service and do agencies deduct money from my pay?
NO! There are no circumstances in which a recruitment agency is legally permitted to ask a candidate for financial compensation for their services. Agencies do not deduct anything from your pay outside of standards deductions like taxes, EI, WCB, etc. Our services are completely funded by the employer's that we hire for.
